Old Blue
Inside ‘Old Blue’ is a scale model of the San
Rafael Ranch located in southern Arizona. Looking through five large peepholes
in the pony’s back and sides, the viewer can see the ranch house, a corral,
cattle, horses, and cowboys and cowgirls. The outside of the pony is painted
to resemble a night view of the ranch’s rolling hills and big sky.
