$433,500 Raised at Auction
$433,500 was raised at the auction. For each pony sold 70% of the proceeds went back to the nonprofit, 12% to the artist who created the pony and 18% to cover TPAC’s administrative costs and to support its programs and services.

ArtWORKS! Academy students unveil “Star,” one of the Ponies del Pueblo, and display a pack of wild ceramic dogs produced at this highly acclaimed alternative high school program for youth at risk. ArtWORKS! Academy teaches art and business skills while students fulfill requirements for their diploma.

Ponies del Pueblo will be featured in the Arts Scene segment of Arizona Illustrated on Tuesday, 12 November, between 6:30-7:00p.m. and repeated that same evening on the 11:30p.m. Arizona Illustrated. Also it will appear on Reflexiones on Sunday, 17 November. Reflexiones is KUAT-TV’s weekly bilingual news magazine program, airing Sunday evenings at 5:30p.m.
